Content Policy
CodePLU exists to upgrade mental models. That only works if every piece of content earns its place. This policy explains the standards all CodePLU content must meet.
1. Interaction First
Every tutorial is built around a concept playground — an interactive node workflow the learner must actually build. Our editorial rule is simple: if a concept cannot be practiced, it is not published. A concept must be answerable wrongly in plausible ways; if you cannot get it wrong, it is not practice. We do not publish passive articles with decorative diagrams.
2. Concept Patterns
Every playground implements one of six concept patterns — workflows, cycles, cause–effect chains, classifications, relationship maps, or step-by-step derivations. Patterns keep the learning experience consistent across subjects, from programming to science to history, and every tutorial's quiz tests the same mental model its playground practices.
3. Accuracy and Sources
Content is written and reviewed for conceptual accuracy at the stated skill level. Simplification is deliberate — tutorials teach mental models, not exhaustive references — but simplification must never make a concept wrong. Where a topic evolves quickly, we date our content and revise it.
4. Corrections
Found an error — factual, conceptual, or a playground that validates incorrectly? Tell us via the contact page and we will review it promptly. Confirmed errors are corrected and the tutorial's last-updated date reflects the revision.
5. Advertising Disclosure
Free content on CodePLU is supported by advertising (Google AdSense). Ads are visually distinct from learning content and never influence what we teach or how concepts are explained. We do not publish sponsored educational content; if that ever changes, such content will be clearly labeled.
6. Intellectual Property and Complaints
CodePLU content is original work. If you believe any content on CodePLU infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at info.codeplu@gmail.com with (a) the URL of the content, (b) identification of your work, and (c) your contact details. We review all complaints promptly and remove or amend infringing material where appropriate.
7. Community and Creator Content (Future)
CodePLU currently publishes only first-party content. If we introduce creator-made courses in the future, creator content will be subject to this policy plus additional review standards published at that time — the interaction-first rule will apply to everyone.
